Tryrannosaurus rex

The Tyrannosaurus is the most famous of all dinosaurs. It was large (up to 13 m long and 5 m high!) with large teeth. The T. rex lived in North America towards the end of the era of the dinosaurs (between 70 and 65 My).

Triceratops horridus

The Triceratops is one of the dinosaurs best known to the general public. It has three horns on its head and an imposing ruff to protect and defend itself. It lived between 70 and 65 My in North America, at the same time as the famous T.rex.

Archelon

Archelon is the largest turtle identified to date. This marine giant lived in the Cretaceous period in North America. Thanks to its very powerful beak, it could probably break the shells and carapaces of its prey. Its imposing shell protected it from giant predators such as plesiosaurs and mosasaurs, 77 million years ago.
Skeleton presented on a base but can also be hung.

Quetzalcoatlus northopi

Quetzalcoatlus was the largest flying creature ever known to the Earth. The remains of this immense creature were unearthed in Texas, in layers dating back to the end of the Cretaceous period, some 70-65 million years ago.

Ouranosaurus nigeriensis

This peaceful herbivorous dinosaur lived in Africa (its remains were found in Niger) around 110 My (Early Cretaceous). Its most important physical characteristics are probably the sail it had on its back and its skull with a flat mandible reminiscent of a duck's beak.

Sarcosuchus
Cast of Sarcosuchus imperator skull.
The remains of this giant crocodile were found in the Ténéré desert in Niger and date back to around 110 million years ago (Aptian, Lower Cretaceous). From the estimates of the skull, specialists believe that the animal could have reached 11 and 14 meters and weighed up to 9 tons .
